Lesson Sequence Week of April 15, 1996
Week Objective: This week we begin training for competition. Continue
with stamina and endurance for 10-15 minutes a class. Start sparring –
pairs, rotate opponents, with and without body protection, use the
referee commands and gestures. If a class is not ready – use offense
and defense.
In sparring, use 1 and 1/2 minute rounds. To vary the sparring, have
them switch opponents after the 1 and 1/2 minutes. Thoroughly explain
the penalties and rules. Mr. Kim will leave the book – use the
referee gestures.
