Lesson Sequence Week of March 18, 1996 Practice for the promotion on
March 27, 1996.
Week Objective: This week 3 and 1 step sparring are emphasized. The
students will understand: use flowing movements-not too hard or too
weak, proper basic movements, timing, defense all the time (show your
center line as little as possible), to hit the target – you must put
the target in your range, hit accurately, concentrate-watch the target
all the time.
Indicators: Accuracy of attach, judging the distance, proper timing,
and proper movements. The student will complete 3 or 1 step sparring
at: white (1 step) 70%, 1 step Yellow 80%, green 85%, blue 90%, and
red 95%.
Warm ups – traditional, run, jumping jacks, extra stretches, stretch
on walls, etc.
